Sept' 2012 - CALLING ALL STUDENTS!
I now provide a new service for students who want to record their guitar playing. I can produce a high quality recording for students and will include a full band set up, such as drums, bass, piano, violins and anything else you can think of. You can record one of your own songs, play to a backing track, or record a cover song, it's up to you. All you have to do is play your guitar or bass! This can be done during your lesson time for the same fee as your lessons. Any extra work I will have to do on my own such as recording bass lines, extra guitar parts if needed, adding other instruments such as pianos etc and mixing will be charged at the same hourly rate as your lessons. Let me know if you're interested;-)

July 2011
Recorded two solos on the tracks 'Dead Man Walking' and 'Walk The Plank' for the upcoming album 'Jamaica Inn' by singer/songwriter Lee Small. It's being released on the Escape Music label on January 20th 2012.

"The guitar work courtesy of Carl Anthony-Wright, Des Sherwood, Lee himself and special guest Martin Kronlund (Gypsy Rose) is of the highest calibre. If you have a penchant for classy, bluesy, soulful, yet rocking songs that are expertly performed and wonderfully presented, then you are going to find a huge amount to lose yourself in with the excellently poised Jamaica Inn. Add to that a vocal performance of the highest standard (I really can't stress how high that high standard is!) and you really do have an album well worth sailing the Seven Seas for." Taken from a review by Steven Reid on the Sea of Tranquility site.

Mukhtar Sahota

After ecording an album and then touring with Bhangra band 'The Sahotas', Mukhtar Sahota and I got together and fused Asian music with rock guitar instrumental music and recorded these four songs together.
I played guitar and bass on all songs except for 'Funky Bitch’ - bass parts played by Robert Samuels.
We had a favourable review in 'Guitar Techniques' magazine and won Demo of the Month in Birmingham's 'Brum Beat' magazine.
